Characteristics and Principles of UV Fluorescent Ink Anti-counterfeiting

Fluorescent ink is widely used in the anti-counterfeiting printing industry because of its fluorescent properties. Printing materials printed with this type of ink often exhibit fluorescent reactions under UV light, making them suitable for anti-counterfeiting measures. There are many types of fluorescent ink, including colorless fluorescent ink, colored fluorescent ink, and dual-wave invisible fluorescent ink.

Colorless fluorescent ink, as the name suggests, is an ink that appears colorless under normal light conditions, while colored fluorescent ink exhibits different colors, depending on the formula used to make it. Dual-wave invisible fluorescent ink exhibits different fluorescent colors under different wavelengths of fluorescent light. It appears with one color fluorescence reaction under long-wave light and another color fluorescence reaction under short-wave light. These inks can all be used for anti-counterfeiting purposes and are also referred to as fluorescent anti-counterfeiting inks.

Fluorescent encryption anti-counterfeiting ink is different from ordinary fluorescent ink. When identifying its authenticity, a special device is used to immediately distinguish between genuine and counterfeit materials. Different fluorescent colors can be observed under UV light. This is because the encryption component in fluorescent ink has unique and dual anti-counterfeiting properties.
